AI-Driven Platform Demonstrates 40% Cost Savings and 2x Productivity Gains in Beta Tests
Trained on Over 20,000 Project Datasets, Solution Achieves 95% Accuracy in Risk Detection

Softsquared today unveiled “Gridge Observer AI,” an AI-powered project management solution designed to transform how enterprises manage remote and distributed teams. The solution is slated for a full commercial launch in the second half of 2026.

With hybrid work models on the rise—adopted in 41% of OECD member countries—82% of organizations still struggle to effectively oversee their distributed teams. This gap is accelerating the demand for AI-driven workforce management. Founded in 2019, Softsquared has become one of Asia’s leading Workforce-as-a-Service (WaaS) providers, connecting over 5,000 verified developers with more than 200 enterprises, including Samsung Electronics, FADU, SWING, and EMS. Drawing on this experience, the company built Gridge Observer to translate workforce visibility into measurable productivity.

Unlike conventional collaboration tools, Gridge Observer functions as an AI assistant for project managers. It integrates seamlessly with existing platforms to offer real-time insights and optimization strategies. Its AI engine, trained on 20,785 project datasets, detects role-task mismatches, underutilized resources, and workflow bottlenecks with 95% accuracy,

automatically resolving many inefficiencies. In beta tests with 70 client companies, the platform achieved 40% cost savings and a 2x increase in productivity.

At the heart of the solution is Softsquared’s proprietary Team Performance Management (TPM) technology, which enables organizations to monitor and optimize distributed team performance from anywhere, at any time.

Gridge Observer has already proven its impact in South Korea. In collaboration with the city of Busan, it powered a “Micro-Job Creation Program” that enabled professionals, previously limited by geography or personal circumstances, to join large-scale remote projects. The initiative successfully reduced regional talent outflow, provided managers with AI-driven quality control, and was recognized as a best practice for connecting local talent with enterprise opportunities.

To fuel its global expansion, Softsquared was named a “Baby Unicorn” by South Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups and has secured KRW 4 billion (approx. USD 2.9 million) in investment. The company also holds 33 international trademarks and patents. Its global track record includes collaborations with the University of Hong Kong on gig-working initiatives, successful project deliveries for the U.S.-based Sire Inc., and USD 16,000 worth of Udemy courses revenue, demonstrating the scalability of its technology and business model.

“AI is already automating routine tasks, but its true value lies in empowering experts to achieve greater outcomes,” said Ha Neul Lee, CEO of Softsquared. “Gridge Observer enables enterprises to collaborate with top global talent more effectively while maximizing performance at scale.”

Gridge Observer is scheduled for commercial release in the second half of 2026, with plans to expand its capabilities to connect enterprises worldwide with top professionals across all industries.
