Whatcon Launches PassPlanner to Simplify Visas with AI

Whatcon Inc., an innovative Korean company specializing in AI and blockchain, today announced the launch of PassPlanner, an AI-powered agent designed to streamline visa processing for international travelers. 

The PassPlanner platform integrates Decentralized Identity (DID) technology, a secure digital wallet, and AI into a user-friendly digital SaaS solution. With PassPlanner, users can receive personalized visa recommendations, complete applications, predict their likelihood of approval, and prepare all necessary documents directly within the app.

PassPlanner provides a seamless mobile gateway for global travel, starting with entry into South Korea. With a single click, the service offers a fully digital experience for foreigners from over 180 countries. The entire procedure—from passport scanning to the automatic completion of application forms—has been digitized to empower users to complete the process independently. This reduces reliance on agents, lowers barriers to entry, and simplifies global mobility.

Driven by the global "K-Wave," South Korea has become one of the world's most attractive travel destinations, welcoming millions of foreign visitors annually. The PassPlanner service is currently being piloted at Korean universities with international students from over 50 countries.

PassPlanner is also expanding its global footprint with Proof-of-Concept (PoC) projects abroad. These include a collaboration with local enterprises in Hanoi, Vietnam; a project in Dubai to establish a hub for Middle East expansion; and the establishment of pilot sites in the United States.
